Volunteer Terms and Conditions

Age

The Drumley walk volunteers are restricted to 18 years and over, unless you are with a specialist group (eg. Scouts or schools) and have written approval from same. You must be 25 or over to drive Walk service vehicles.

Photo ID

Photo ID must be produced 1 month prior to walk.

Email Access

You must have access to a current and usable email address as all applications and most correspondence will occur via email.

Safety

You must comply with all safety requirements associated with your Volunteer position. These are detailed in the Job Description. All positions require enclosed shoes. Outdoor work requires a hat. For work involving long hours in the sun, shirts with sleeves and collar will be needed.

Smoking

No smoking while on duty during shifts, including when travelling in walk service vehicles.

Confidentiality

All information and processes associated with the volunteer position are to be considered confidential.

Ticket entry

Your volunteer ticket allows only one person to enter the walk. It does not entitle members of your family or associates to enter on your ticket. Tickets need to be purchased through the normal channels for all members of your group who are not volunteers.

Attitude

Bring a positive attitude, acting with courtesy and in an orderly manner at all times.

Walk Rules

Obey all walk rules as detailed on the website and follow all directions from walk organisers.
